With over 20 years of experience, Doug’s career is defined by leading interagency operations, developing long-term crisis strategies, and directing response teams during large-scale disasters across the United States and its Territories.

As a firefighter with the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), President of the FDNY Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) and Lead Interagency Coordinator for Manhattan with NYC Emergency Management (NYCEM), Doug gained extensive hands-on experience managing high-stakes emergencies and coordinating efforts across the public and private sectors.

Also a founder of the New York City Interagency Drone Task Force, Doug helped introduce innovative drone (UAS) technology for infrastructure inspections and damage assessments citywide, revolutionizing how agencies respond to emergencies. 

By leveraging cutting-edge solutions and coordinating multi-agency efforts, Doug has consistently delivered actionable strategies that maximize resources and improve outcomes during critical incidents.
