Doug is a crisis response and incident management leader with over 20 years of frontline and executive experience. Through Ironclad Ops, he helps public and private sector organizations strengthen resilience, streamline operations, and protect people and assets during high-pressure events.
Doug’s career includes service as a firefighter with the FDNY, President of the FDNY Disaster Assistance Response Team, and Lead Interagency Coordinator for Manhattan at NYC Emergency Management. He has directed multi-agency responses to Hurricanes Katrina, Harvey, Irma, and Maria, as well as NYC’s COVID-19 Mobile Testing and Hotel Programs.
A proven innovator, Doug co-founded the NYC Interagency Drone Task Force, pioneering the use of drones for multi-agency disaster response and infrastructure assessments in New York City. His initiatives have improved decision-making, accelerated recovery, and safeguarded communities in some of the nation’s most complex crises.
Today, he brings this expertise to Ironclad Ops, LLC—helping organizations worldwide prepare for, respond to, and recover from critical events.
